Merlot
Taste: Cherry, plum, chocolate, vanilla & bay leaf.
Style: Dry, medium-full body, medium-high tannins, medium acidity, 13.5- 15% ABV
Description: Loved for its boisterous black cherry flavors, supple tannins & chocolatey finish. On the high end, it's often mistaken for Cabernet Sauvignon and commonly blended with it.
Food Pairing: Great to experiment with as it matches with a wide variety of foods such as pizza, BBQ chicken, penne, roast turkey, beef short-ribs & braised meat. Recommended to avoid dishes such as delicate fish, light salads, & super spicy things.
