Sangria

Taste: Fruity, best served with fresh cut fruit for additional sweet flavoring.

Style: A wine cocktail made from Tempranillo & Garancha grapes.

Description: Sangria originated in Spain & Portugal. A punch, sangria traditionally consists of Spanish Rioja red wine and chopped fruit, occasionally with other ingredients or spirits. Fruits typically mixed in sangria are peaches, nectarines, berries, apples or pears.

Food Pairing: Seafood pairs exceptional well such as calamari, spice-rubbed shrimp, lobster, crab, oysters, haddock or tilapia. Brie, goat, aged cheddar, gouda, asiago, or camembert cheeses also pair particularly well.
